New Asus M3 Series boards !

Asus , the worldwide known manufacturer of computer parts is the 1st one that introduces to the people , the new motherboards for AMD's Phenom CPUs based on 790FX chipset.
The new series will be calles M3 and it will have 3 new models starting from a value motherboard and closing to a High-End motherboard!

The Value one will have the code name Asus AM3 and it will have the following
features :

- 4+1 Phase Power Design
- Up to 8GB DDR2 Ram
- Coaxial SPDIF Out
- GB Lan
- 8CH HD Audio
- 1 X PCI-E 2.0 GFX Slot
- SATA 3Gb/s RAID
- Q-Conector

The second motherboard will be the ASUS-M3A32 MVP Deluxe.

MEMPIPE

ASUS mempipe is a cooler for Ram modules which is connected on the central heatpipe-fins cooling system along
the chipset and some mofsets , and it is ending on the Ram.
The mempipe supports modules with or without heatspreaders and it is shipped in in the retail package of the
ASUS-M3A32 MVP Deluxe/Wi-Fi AP & ASUS-M3A32 MVP Deluxe but the end user can attach it or remove it from
the motherboard whenever he wants to.
Furthermore ,in the mempipe , it can fit single side or double side memory modules!
The mempipe cooling prototype idea was on the table from the Computex 2007 , in which , ASUS introduce it to the
people.




Crossfire Solutions

The 2 last motherboards are CrossFirex Ready and can support crossfire systems with the following combinations :
1. Dual CrossFire X16
2. Triple CrossFire X16 / X8 / X8
3. Quad CrossFire X8 / X8 / X8 / X8

We are looking forward, to see some more solutions from other companies too , based on 790FX AMD chipset, and we hope that 3ple and quad CF drivers will be ok this time !
